The Sacramento Kings (8-7) and Los Angeles Clippers (9-7) will meet in the group stage of the NBA Cup tonight. Tipoff is set for 10:30 p.m. ET from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The game will broadcast live on NBA League Pass.

The Kings are 3-point favorites over the Clippers on the spread (Kings -3), with the over/under set at 221 total points. Sacramento is a -150 favorite to win outright, while Los Angeles is +125 to pull off the upset.

Let's get into my Clippers vs Kings predictions and NBA picks for Friday, November 22.

Kings vs. Clippers Picks, Prediction

Spread

The spread is set appropriately close. Sacramento is expected to have Domantas Sabonis back in the lineup to join De'Aaron Fox and DeMar DeRozan. The Clippers are overachieving a bit, and will be missing Norman Powell, but they are 10-6 against the spread and in a good spot as home underdogs tonight.

Moneyline

The moneyline is worth a look either way. It's plus-money for the Clippers, and if you like them at +3, you should like them to win. For the Kings, the moneyline is safer than -3, especially given the Clippers' ability to cover so far.

Over/Under

I don't have a lean on the total either way. The Kings generally make me want to go over, but the Clippers have played to 10 overs and a push in 16 games. Staying away.

My Pick: Kings ML (-150, bet365)

Kings vs. Clippers Preview

I don't think it's as simple as Sabonis is back after two games, so go Kings, although that unquestionably helps.

It also helps that Powell will be out for Los Angeles. Powell is averaging 23 points and is their leading scorer out in Ballmer World. And yes, James Harden could obviously make up for that, among others, but the Kings' firepower on offense could be too much.

Ultimately, I don't think the Kings are amazing, but I do think they're the better team in this matchup, and the Clippers are a slight early season surprise to me.

Sacramento also lost to the Clippers at home two weeks ago, so the revenge spot possibility is there. And I agree with Jay Money, who said on Buckets alongside Matt Moore and I — which dropped today — that this is a nice spot for Sacramento.

Kings vs. Clippers Prediction

To me, I like the Kings on the moneyline, and I'd lean over on Domantas Sabonis points, rebounds and assists combo at over 35.5.

Sabonis has cleared this in 10 of 13 games this season. He also has gone over in three straight matchups against Ivica Zubac.

Best Bet: Kings Moneyline (-150)
Same Game Parlay: Kings ML, Domantas Sabonis Over 35.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (+169)
