The Los Angeles Clippers (34-29) will host the Sacramento Kings (33-29) in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The game will broadcast live on NBA League Pass.

The Clippers are 6-point favorites over the Kings on the spread (Clippers -6), with the over/under set at 217 total points. Los Angeles is a -225 favorite to win outright, while Sacramento is +185 to pull off the upset.

Let's get to my Kings vs. Clippers predictions and NBA picks for Sunday, March 9.

Kings vs Clippers Prediction, Picks

Over/Under

The number here is low enough to be interested in the over, but our projections still show this could be a fairly low-scoring affair. Kings games went under in six straight before their last, and the Clippers have played to the fourth-most unders in the NBA this season.

Spread

No play for me here. The Clippers are very good against the spread, so they'd be my lean, but the Kings have actually covered in six straight and are 5-1 straight up during that run.

My Pick: DeMar DeRozan Over 8.5 Rebounds + Assists (-135)

Sacramento Kings vs Los Angeles Clippers NBA Preview

I like DeMar DeRozan over 8.5 Rebounds + Assists (RA). This is a number he's been getting despite the aforementioned Unders, hitting 9+ RA in nine of 11 games, and getting to 10 in eight of those nine (for those of you who don't like the juice on 8.5 at the time you play it).

Ultimately, DeRozan's playmaking has opened up without De'Aaron Fox. Ever since the Kings traded away Fox a little over a month ago, DeRozan has averaged 5.1 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game.

The Clippers are among the top-10 in fewest rebounds and fewest assists allowed this season, which is probably why this line is placed at 8.5.

However, DeRozan has been killing this number, and the Kings will be without Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk again in tonight's matchup, which obviously helps.

Clippers vs. Kings Best Bet

  • DeMar DeRozan Over 8.5 Rebounds + Assists (-135)
