The New York Knicks (5-8) and Brooklyn Nets (6-6) will meet in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET from Madison Square Garden in The Big Apple. The game will broadcast live on NBA League Pass.

The Knicks are 9.5-point favorites over the Nets on the spread (Knicks -9.5), with the over/under set at 219.5 total points. New York is a -450 favorite to win outright, while Brooklyn is +350 to pull off the upset.

Let's get into my Knicks vs Nets predictions and NBA picks for Sunday, November 17.

Nets vs. Knicks Picks, Prediction

Spread

The Knicks were favored by a similar margin in the previous meeting between these teams, and did not cover the spread, winning by just two points. Karl-Anthony Towns did not play last time out and is questionable for Sunday as of now. Same goes for Miles McBride, who wasn't available to pace the bench unit.

Still, the Knicks were nearly double-digit favorites, and looked in line to cover until a 40-point Nets fourth quarter.

Moneyline

Nets or nothing, given that the Knicks are favored, unless you're a parlay player. I'll pass.

Over/Under

This game combined for 246 points and flew over the point total. This is only at 219.5 this time around, and sharp money — along with our pro projections — tilt toward the under. And frankly, I'm not sure why.

My Pick: Dorian Finney-Smith Over 1.5 Three-Pointers

Nets vs. Knicks Preview

I like two props in this game. Dennis Schroder over 5.5 assists is the first, which I tagged at +120 on FanDuel. He got eight last night and similarly will be able to dribble penetrate this defense and hit teammates for good looks again, especially if Towns actually plays.

He has only cleared this in two of six after doing so in six straight to start the year, but the Knicks defense isn't good right now, and the high pick-and-roll should be there for Nets guards to create chances for others. At plus-money, I'll take a shot.

Dorian Finney Smith is the other, who I have at over 1.5 threes at -120 on FanDuel. DFS and Cam Johnson will be beneficiaries of this ball movement that led to 27 team assists and a near win last time out. DFS had 15 and four threes.

Offensive sets are likely to see DFS ready to shoot in the corner, so we're hoping for volume, too. DFS has cleared in four of five, attempted six or more threes in three of those games.

Nets vs. Knicks Prediction

I have played Schroder's assists and Finney-Smith's threes separately and not sure if I will parlay, but to do so, you could get it at +246 on FanDuel.

Best Bet: Dorian Finney-Smith Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-125, bet365)
Same Game Parlay: Dennis Schroder Over 5.5 Assists, Dorian Finney-Smith Over 1.5 Threes (+246, FanDuel)
