Thursday night's battle between the Lakers and the Grizzlies is an intriguing one, and sharp bettors are in agreement that there is value to be had.

Los Angeles comes into the contest on the back of one of its best performances of the season, a 117-102 win over the Boston Celtics. The victory placed the 13-12 Lakers into the sixth position in the Western Conference.

The Grizzlies are an incredibly impressive 5-1 without Ja Morant since the star point guard became absent with a knee injury. Their first and only loss of the period came on Wednesday night against the Mavericks.

In fact, the Grizzlies have been impressive in other ways. Memphis has a 15-10 record against the spread (ATS) this year while the Lakers are a league-worst 9-16.

Morant remains out for the Grizzlies on Thursday, and Kyle Anderson comes into the game as doubtful. The Lakers don't have any injury problems heading into the contest.
