The ending to the Lakers vs. Timberwolves game will have your mind spinning in circles — Lakers moneyline bettors close your eyes.
With three seconds left in regulation and Los Angeles down 107-104, LeBron James pulled up for a jump shot near the 3-point line. The refs ruled it as a two on the floor and then went to replay.
After reviewing the play, the refs ruled there was insufficient evidence to overturn the call on the floor.
James immediately ran and pointed to the screen that showed an image in which he believed his foot was behind the line.
The screenshot of LeBron’s foot outside the line serves no purpose because it doesn’t show when the ball left his hands. Here’s a more accurate replay for you to decide. It’s close for sure. pic.twitter.com/tX38xTvQNi

The Timberwolves ended up winning the game 108-106. The Lakers covered the 4.5-point spread but moneyline bettors are still questioning NBA officials.
"The play was ruled a two-point field goal on the floor during live play," the head official for the game, Tony Brothers, told reporters after the game. "After video review, there wasn't clear and conclusive evidence to overturn it from a two to a three, and that's why it stood as a two-point field goal."
The Lakers moneyline was +145 at BetMGM.
