Clippers vs. Bulls Preview

Ivica Zubac has taken a big leap this season, posting career highs in scoring, shots, and minutes. His usage rate is the highest it's been since 2018-19 when he first joined the Clippers.

Zubac has always been an interior-focused scorer, but he's scored a career-high 86.3% of his points from in the paint this season. He's actually been one of the most prolific inside scorers this season, ranking 8th in made field goals and 10th in shot attempts from inside the restricted area.

The names ahead of him include some elite post players (Giannis Antetokounmpo, Zion Williamson, Anthony Davis, Domantas Sabonis).

Chicago is the best matchup in the league for interior scorers. They have given up 3+ more points in the paint per game than the next-closest team.

Chicago has allowed the most made field goals, most shots, and 8th-highest shooting percentage from inside the restricted area. They have allowed the 2nd-most points per game to centers.

Nikola Vucevic is doubtful tonight, and Jalen Smith has already been ruled out. That leaves Zach Collins as the only healthy center. Collins is going to have his hands full trying to slow Zubac down, and there's no one behind him if he gets into foul trouble.

Best Bet: Ivica Zubac Over 15.5 Points

Clippers vs. Bulls Parlay Picks

By Bruce Marshall

We're not sure how long this lasts, but the Bulls actually aren't playing too badly since the All-Star break, covering all three of their games into tonight, and snapping a six-game skid when blowing out the Sixers on Monday.

Chicago has reason to try, too, as it sits just inside the cut-line for the East play-in round, and after the deadline trade of Zach LaVine to Sacramento, Billy Donovan has decided to turn Josh Giddey loose.

The Aussie has responded in kind, scoring better than 25 ppg since the break and pulling down better than 13 rebounds per game while dishing out almost seven assists per game.

Meanwhile, the Clips are winless in three on the road since the All-Star break, and appear to be minus top scorer Norman Powell again tonight, though Kawhi Leonard was not on the injury report for Wednesday.

Pick: Bulls +9 (-110)

Same Game Parlay Picks
