Here's everything you need to know about Lakers vs. Raptors on Friday, November 1 — our expert prediction and betting picks for today's game.

My Lakers vs. Raptors predictions are below.

Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers (3-2) are coming off a tough road loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers, which they lost by 24 points. That was the Lakers' second straight loss, as they also fell to the Suns in Phoenix this past Monday. The Lakers can get their first road win against the Raptors tonight.

The Lakers started strong in their first three home games, winning against the Timberwolves, Suns, and Kings. That's some tough competition to start the season, but the Lakers have looked dominant at home so far, with Anthony Davis carrying the load.

In each Laker win, Davis has scored 30+ points. He scored 36, 35, and 31 points in his first three games, respectively. In their first loss against the Suns, Davis was on the verge of 30 points, as he scored 29, but the Lakers lost that game by four points. In the blowout defeat against the Cavaliers, he only scored 22, so it's clear the Lakers have a higher chance of winning games when Davis is scoring close to 30 or more.

Right now, Davis is averaging 30.6 points through five games. Going up against the Raptors, who are dealing with a bunch of injuries and don't have much size to deal with Davis besides Jakob Poeltl, this should be a game where the Lakers dominate.

Toronto Raptors

Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors (1-4) are going through it, as the team has had trouble avoiding injury to begin the season.

Bruce Brown has yet to play due to an injured right knee that he had surgery on in September. RJ Barrett missed the first three games of the season after injuring his right shoulder but returned this past Monday. Their young All-Star Scottie Barnes will miss at least three weeks after he suffered a right orbital fracture against the Denver Nuggets, which is a massive blow.

It doesn't stop there. Immanuel Quickley's pelvic injury, which occurred in the season opener against the Cavaliers, has caused him to miss the last four games and Kelly Olynyk's back injury has also prevented him from playing this season.

Health hasn't been on the Raptors' side this season, and they are missing essential players on their roster, making it more difficult for them each game.

Betting Pick & Prediction

With the abundance of injuries the Raptors are facing, the Lakers have an opportunity to take care of business on the road and win against a depleted Raptors team.
