Orlando Magic vs Boston Celtics Preview for Game 5
I'm having a tough time with this series, so I'm just going with the reliable Paolo Banchero over 29.5 points, because as you've seen, where else is offense coming from for the Magic?
Banchero has scored 36, 32, 29 and 31 while taking 25+ shots in all four games, respectively.
If the volume continues, including the 34 free throw attempts across all four games, he'll at least be in the neighborhood of 30 points, even if the defense is going to be hyper-focused on him for obvious reasons.
However, he's doing everything he can, and the Magic don't have much else at their disposal.
Banchero is Orlando's offense, and he's played 40 or more minutes in each game of this series, topping out at 43 minutes thus far, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he gets closer to all 48 if we have another close game tonight.
The Celtics have covered the spread twice in this series. My only concern is if Banchero misses too many shots, or if this becomes a blowout and he sits early.
Conventionally, Banchero is worth backing in this spot because of usage, volume, and opportunity.
