The Denver Nuggets look to end their two-game losing streak when they face the Dallas Mavericks as 5.5-point home favorites. Although the Mavericks have won two straight games, they will be playing on the second night of a back-to-back. The Mavericks have struggled on the road all season, posting a 2-8 record straight up and a 1-6 ATS record over their last seven road games.

The Nuggets have posted a 12-5 record against Western Conference opponents thus far and have a big advantage with a few days of rest and getting to play on their home court at elevation.

Mavericks vs. Nuggets Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick

The Parlay: (+210)

  • Jamal Murray Over 4.5 Assists (-140)
  • Tim Hardaway Jr. Under 15.5 Points (-115)

Jamal Murray Over 4.5 Assists (-140)

When the Nuggets are at their best, they share the ball unselfishly and put up an avalanche of points. The Nuggets have the highest field goal percentage in the Association (50 percent) and rank in the top three in assists per game (27.9 assists). They have three players averaging 4.5 or more assists per contest as they have multiple dangerous playmakers.

Jamal Murray is seeing a lot more playing time as he continues to round into better form after missing all of last year with a torn ACL. He's averaging 4.9 assists per contest this season, which is right around his career average.

The Nuggets are in a favorable spot against a Mavericks team whose defense allows over 50 percent shooting away from home this season. The Mavs' 113.7 points allowed per game on the road is almost 10 more points than they allow at home. Look for Murray to further the Mavericks' defensive road struggles with his distributing tonight.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Under 15.5 Points (-115)

The Mavericks are 1-3 straight up on back-to-back games this season as they are averaging 106.5 points per contest on 42.7 percent shooting.

Over the last three Mavericks games against the Nuggets, Tim Hardaway Jr. has struggled from the floor. Although he has not logged big minutes in those matchups, we've seen him put up six, 13 and most recently only two points in these contests. In their last meeting on November 20th, Hardaway shot 0-9 from the floor and did not hit a single shot from the field (his two points came as free throws).

With Hardaway Jr.'s struggles in this matchup while he continues to play inconsistent minutes, his points total is set too high at 15.5.
