Bulls vs. Wizards

The Chicago Bulls are still alive in the NBA Cup Group play and get a matchup against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night.
Zach LaVine has thrived in this matchup and I expect him to continue to do so. LaVine has averaged 27.7 points per game against Washington over the past few seasons with 25+ points in 5-of-6 games. This season, LaVine has played 30+ minutes in all but one game and in those 14 games he is averaging 23.3 ppg, while exceeding this line in 9-of-14 games, including in six of his past seven games.
This game is an ultimate Pace up spot with Chicago playing at the second-fastest Pace in the league and Washington at the fourth-fastest. Couple that with Washington having the league’s worst defense and this sets up for plenty of LaVine points.

Bucks vs. Heat

The Heat host the Bucks in a pivotal matchup for their NBA Cup Group.
I’m targeting Tyler Herro to excel for Miami in this spot. He has been the team’s clear leading scorer with 23.8 ppg, but has also been contributing the counting stats with 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.
This spot against the Bucks is strong. Even though Milwaukee’s defense has started to come together, the Bucks are still susceptible to strong guard play. They were just torched by LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller of the Hornets, along with Fred VanVleet, Jalen Green and Cade Cunningham. They are weak on the perimeter against guards who can score first.
Herro is averaging 29.1 PR per game and has exceeded this 25.5 PR line in 64% of games. I’ll grab him to exceed this line tonight.

Bucks vs. Heat

Milwaukee is catching fire and has value against Miami on Tuesday. The Bucks have won four straight and are finding their offensive groove. They've scored over 120 in their past 3 games and are getting contributions from many different players.
The bench is coming in with the likes of Bobby Portis and Gary Trent Jr., who are consistently putting up double digits. That's the biggest key for this team — the supporting cast has to produce.
Miami is just 7-7 and has been too inconsistent to trust. The Heat have lacked any sort of offensive spark and have struggled shooting the 3. Milwaukee is clicking on all cylinders and will come up with some scoring flurries in a game it'll have a chance to win outright. Grab the points with the Bucks in this underdog spot.

Rockets vs. Timberwolves

The Houston Rockets are a solid 12-6 on the season and haven't yet lost back-to-back games, while the MinnesotaTimberwolves are just 8-8 and struggling to find consistency on both sides of the floor.
This has been a one-sided series as the Wolves have won nine of the past 10 meetings. The Rockets come into this game off a horrible loss to the Blazers as 11-point favorites. The Rockets have six losses on the season, but they have all been close. Houston also ranks third in the NBA in scoring defense, allowing just 105 per contest.
This is a young and very talented team with plenty of depth and several scorers, whereas the Wolves have mostly been counting on Anthony Edwards to do all the heavy lifting. The Wolves have dropped five of their past seven.

Spurs vs. Jazz

Harrison Barnes is averaging 11.5 points per game, which matches this line exactly. However, Barnes has scored 20 points in each of his past three games, including scoring 25 against the Jazz last Thursday. Now, the Spurs' leading scorer, Victor Wembanyama, missed two of those games, but he returned on Saturday and Barnes went for 22 against the Warriors, who have the league's fourth-ranked defense.
Meanwhile, Utah ranks 26th in defensive rating and 25th in points allowed. The Jazz are 24th in 3s allowed per game with 2.3 against power forwards. They are allowing 21.2 points per game to power forwards as well.
Dating back to his time with the Kings, Barnes has cleared this line in 11 of his past 14 games against the Jazz, averaging 18.7 points with five 20-point games. He comes into tonight's game shooting 63.6% from the field over his past three games. While he is due for some regression, he will benefit from being set up by Chris Paul (9.5 assists line tonight) and the attention Wembanyama (3.5 assists line) draws.
Barnes is also averaging three 3s per game over his past three games and three more tonight would almost get him to 12 points. If he continues his hot shooting, he likely scores 20 points for a fourth straight game. You can back him for 15 points at +185, 18 points at +400 and 20 points at +650 on DraftKings.
