Spencer Dinwiddie over 12.5 points (-120)

Spence Dinwiddie hasn't erupted like I thought he might with Cam Thomas out, but against his old team — and a former teammate in Kyle Kuzma who he's had beef with — I think that'll change.

Dinwiddie's points should rebound some time. This is his worst scoring season since… well… that time with the Washington Wizards a few years ago. He came up as a high IQ, pass-first, low turnover point guard with the Nets in 2016-17 (after a forgettable two years with the Pistons) before transforming into more of a combo guard, often with a scoring first mentality on select nights.

He's gotten back to his pass-first ways, but the Nets will need that downhill scoring element he hasn't showcased enough this season in order for them to have a better chance at winning games, yes, even against these Wizards.

Dinwiddie's gotten over 12.5 points just twice this season, and to me, he's due to break this slump. Who better than the Wizards?

Tyrese Haliburton to record a Double Double

Tyrese Haliburton has had an incredible start to the season. He is averaging 23.6 points and 11.6 assists per game while recording a double double in 7 of 8 games.

Tonight, the Pacers face off against the 76ers who have been one of the league’s best teams on both offense and defense em route to a 7-1 record. Despite their strong defensive figures, Haliburton presents Philly with their toughest task yet from the point guard position.

Haliburton is basically a walking double double at this point, and his odds at -140 are far too short to record one especially considering he logged 10+ assists in all 3 games against Philly last season. Alternatively, over 10.5 assists is a fine play. He has exceeded that line in 6/8 games and with Philadelphia playing faster this season without James Harden this contest should be packed with scoring opportunities.
