Clippers -2 (-110)

This is a back to back spot for both teams. However, this road spot actually favors the Clippers.

The Pistons are coming off of a road win over the Hawks that was incredibly high paced and finished 148-143.

Despite being at home, this is a travel spot for Detroit as well.

The Clippers are coming off a loss to the Pacers, but also sat Kawhi Leonard for the first night.

Kawhi should be active today, even Norman Powell might be back, and the Clippers are the side to back here.

I'll take the Clippers ATS at anything below -3.

Pick: Clippers -2 (-110)

Josh Giddey Over 14.5 Rebounds + Assists (-130)

By Joe Dellera

Josh Giddey has seen quite the uptick in his stat lines following the trade deadline with Zach LaVine being shipped to Sacramento and now Ayo Dosunmu getting injured.

In the two games without them both, he’s recorded 18 Rebounds + Assists (RA) with one game at double digit dimes and the other with double digit boards.

Even without just Ayo, he’s at 17.2 RA per game this season hitting this 14.5 line in five straight.

The Sixers are in a bit of disarray right now given the status of Joel Embiid. And while Chicago may be looking to the future as an organization, Josh Giddey still needs to get paid.

I expect a strong effort for Giddey tonight who has recorded 18 and 17 RA against the Sixers already this season.

Considering the recent performance, a sprinkle on him to record a triple double (+1000) is worth it here as well.

Pick: Josh Giddey Over 14.5 Rebounds + Assists (-130)

Nuggets vs. Pacers

Denver's recent nine-game win streak went down the drain in a hurry in Sunday's heavy home loss to the Lakers. But I suggest drilling a bit deeper to see who the Nuggets actually beat in their recent uptick.

Records show two wins over Charlotte, two over Portland, and two over New Orleans included in those nine, as well as a reeling Philly, Orlando, and Phoenix. It would have been hard not to go 9-0 against that sort of slate…

Michael Malone is also wondering these days about his bench, that besides Russell Westbrook can't always be counted upon to provide needed help.

Meanwhile, the Pacers have flown out of the gate after the All-Star break, thumping the Grizzlies and Clippers in Indy, part of a 16-5 surge.

Rick Carlisle is getting various contributions, with three leading scorers across the last four games, and Indiana better than 50% from the floor in both of its wins since the break. Play Pacers.

Pick: Pacers +5 (-110)

Domantas Sabonis Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

Tonight, the Charlotte Hornets continue their West Coast trip against the Sacramento Kings. More importantly, we have another opportunity to fade them against centers.

The Hornets are 21st in points (23 PPG) and 27th in rebounds (16.3) allowed per game to centers. They are also 21st in offensive rebounds allowed and 28th in second chance points allowed to centers.

This sets up the Hornets as a fabulous matchup for Kings center Domantas Sabonis and he has taken advantage of it over the last few years. In his last three games against Charlotte, Sabonis has had 28 points and 23 rebounds, 23 points and 19 rebounds, and 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Given what the Hornets typically allow to center, Sabonis will have a chance to clear this line before factoring in his assists. However, as the Kings offensive hub, he will set up his teammates as well.

Sabonis has had seven assists in four of his last five games against the Hornets. He just had nine assists against the Warriors and he is averaging 6.3 assists per game this season.

Overall, Sabonis has recorded 40 PRA in five of his last seven games against the Hornets. The Hornets are coming off consecutive blowout losses, but also just upset the Lakers on Wednesday.

While the Kings are a double-digit favorite themselves, don't be surprised if Sabonis has another 20-20 game if Charlotte hangs around long enough.

Pick: Domantas Sabonis Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

Timberwolves vs. Thunder

These two teams are on the second half of a home-and-home series, and last night, the Wolves lost by 7 points in their home game.

However, they actually led and made significant comebacks on occasion, as they were definitely hanging with the Thunder at times.

The Thunder will likely be without Chet Holmgren in this one, as he has yet to play on a back-to-back since returning from injury, so this line could move a couple points in favor of Minnesota once that news is official.

I'll take the points with the Wolves.

Pick: Timberwolves +12 (-110)

Nets vs. Wizards

The Wizards had Brooklyn's number on February 5, they're only meeting of the season so far, as Washington ended up pulling away for a 119-102 victory.

But the Wizards only have nine wins on the season to go along with 47 losses. That includes 5-24 at home.

With the 24 covers that the Wizards have this season, not many of them are a plus-short number like tonight.

The Nets have won four of their last five, and seven of their last nine overall.

Brooklyn is balling right now. Take the Nets to cover.

Pick: Nets -3 (-110)

Trae Young Over 10.5 Assists (-115)

Trae Young is having a fantastic season.

While he did just get out-dueled by Cade Cunningham in yesterday's game, he projects well in this spot against the Heat, who are a top-10 matchup for assists.

Young projects for nearly 12 dimes in this matchup. I'll back him to have another strong outing in the assists column.

Pick: Trae Young Over 10.5 Assists (-115)

Trail Blazers vs. Jazz

Under 232.5 (-110)

Portland's defense has been sailing below the radar minus a couple of games against the Nuggets. Utah matches up well to Portland's style of offense. The result should be an Under here.

The Trail Blazers have the second-best defensive ranking in the league during the last 16 games. It's fueled them to a 16-5 record during this span.

If you discount the Trail Blazers' two games against Denver, they are giving up an average of 101 points during their last eight games.

Utah's offense ranks in the bottom-12 in points, field goal percentage, and free throw percentage.

The Jazz concentrate their defense on preventing short shots. They rank third in the NBA in limiting opponents to shot attempts within four feet of the hoop. Portland is a bottom-five scoring team.

The Trail Blazers do have the second-highest frequency of shots within four feet of the basket. But Utah's strength is stopping those types of short shots.

Neither team has any star power either. I like the Under in this spot.

Pick: Under 232.5 (-110)
