The New York Knicks face-off against the Detroit Pistons in what looks to be a first round matchup preview for the Eastern conference playoffs.

The Knicks have ruled out a number of different players. However, they will still have Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns for this one. That offensive combo has paid dividends this season.

I’m targeting Towns to excel from beyond the arc, even though his volume has dropped a bit of late. OG Anunoby has been on an absolute heater, and that has taken up some of the usage KAT normally sees from 3-point range.

This is a good matchup for him though, as the Pistons usually play a more traditional center in either Jalen Duren or Isaiah Stewart.

KAT has made 3/6 and 4/9 from deep this season against Detroit, and much of this is because both Duren and Stewart are going under screens in a drop coverage.

Given this matchup advantage and some of the more available usage without OG, I expect KAT to make at least two 3s tonight.

Pick: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (-110)

Under 232.5 (-110)

Betting is always more about numbers than opinions, and that is especially true when it comes to tonight's matchup between the Hawks and Nets.

When this line came out at 226.5, my model number had 229 as the correct line, so I played the Over.

Overnight this line moved up to 232.5 and has over corrected. This line will allow books to take action on the Under, and the line will likely close back around 230.

At this point in the cycle of the betting market, take the Under. This is called the resistance point.

Pick: Under 232.5 (-110)

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 10.5 Rebounds (-120)

This should be a great spot on the boards for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Giannis has gone over 10.5 boards in three straight games. He's facing a continually depleted Pelicans squad tonight, and the only concern is whether or not he gets minutes.
