NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (December 10): Deandre Ayton Out vs. Celtics Friday article feature image

NBA Injury News

8:30 p.m. ET: Deandre Ayton has been ruled out of Friday's game against the Celtics with a non-Covid illness.


7:30 p.m. ET Update: D'Angelo Russell has been ruled out with an ankle injury. LeBron James, Patrick Beverley and Giannis Antetokounmpo are available to play.


7 p.m. ET Update: Anthony Davis and George Hill have been ruled out Friday.


George Hill is listed as questionable as he continues to deal with a hyperextended knee that has sidelined him for three games. Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable with a quad contusion.

Anthony Davis is questionable ahead of Friday's back-to-back against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a sore left knee. LeBron James is probable as he manages his abdominal injury.

Deandre Ayton is questionable is questionable for the Phoenix Suns ahead of their matchup with the Boston Celtics on national TV. Ayton is dealing with a non-Covid illness and the Suns are already down Devin Booker who has been sidelined since injuring his hamstring against the Golden State Warriors.

D'Angelo Russell is questionable to play Friday with a sore right ankle. Russell has already sat out back-to-back games with the injury.
