NBA Injury News

The Sacramento Kings are hopeful that De'Aaron Fox will be able to suit up for a pivotal Game 5 at the Golden 1 Center against he Golden State Warriors. The All-Star point is confident that he will telling Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee, “There’s no if, ands or buts … I’m playing.” Fox injury the index finger on his left hand — his shooting hand — in Game 4 and was initially listed as doubtful before being upgraded to questionable. He will wear a splint on the finger if he's cleared to play.

The New York Knicks hope to have Quentin Grimes back for a potential closeout Game 5 on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers after he missed Sunday's game with a shoulder contusion. The second-year guard is questionable as he was before the matinee game in Madison Square Garden before he was eventually ruled out. Grimes' defense on either Darius Garland or Donovan Mitchell would be crucial, but if he cannot play, Josh Hart is expected to get the start in place of Grimes again.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable to play in Wednesday's elimination Game 5 after returning in Game 4 despite his sore back. There were signs that he was still favoring his back at points in the loss to the Miami Heat, but Antetokounmpo still played nearly 40 minutes and posted a triple double.
