NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (April 5): Kristaps Porzingis Ruled Out, D’Angelo Russell Cleared to Return Monday article feature image

Below are the projected starting lineups for each team playing on Monday's NBA slate, along with notable injury news for each squad. For real-time updates to these lineups, check out our Action Labs NBA lineups page.

NBA Injury News

6 p.m. ET Update: Kristaps Porzingis is sitting for the second straight game, but this time he is hampered by a sprained shooting wrist. Josh Richardson has been cleared to play Monday after missing the previous game with a tight calf.

D'Angelo Russell will play on Monday after missing the previous 26 games due to a knee procedure. Malik Beasley will be sidelined four-to-six weeks after an MRI revealed a grade 3 left hamstring injury.

Fred VanVleet has been ruled out for the Raptors with a hip injury.


1 p.m. ET Update: James Harden has been removed from the injury report and will return on Monday after missing the prior two games due to a tight right hamstring.

Larry Nance and Jarrett Allen have been ruled out Monday. Allen is sitting for the fifth straight game due to a concussion and Nance Jr. is out for the fourth straight game due to an illness.


James Harden is questionable to suit up on Monday after missing the past two games with a tight hamstring. Kevin Durant is said to be nearing a return this week and has an outside chance of playing Monday as well.

Bradley Beal and Rui Hachimura are listed questionable ahead of Monday's game. Beal has missed the past four games with a hip contusion while Hachimura was a late scratch just prior to Saturday's loss.

Kristaps Porzingis has been listed questionable Monday with a sprained right wrist. He was also questionable on Saturday before he ended up sitting in the second leg of a back-to-back. Josh Richardson is also questionable due to a calf injury.
