NBA Injury News
7 p.m. ET Update: Jimmy Butler has been ruled out of Game 2 with an ankle injury. Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle have been cleared play.
Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters that Jimmy Butler would likely be a game-time decision for Game 2 of Heat vs Knicks. Butler injured his ankle in the fourth quarter in Game 1 and appeared significantly hobbled despite finishing the game.
Julius Randle, who missed Game 1 with a sore ankle, is also questionable for Game 2. Randle warmed up ahead of the series opener, but ultimately sat out, which gave Obi Toppin the opportunity to start. Jalen Brunson is also questionable with a sore ankle, which is a bit of a surprise after he played 40 minutes in Game 1.
