NBA Injury News

7 p.m. ET Update: Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond have been cleared to play on Tuesday for the Sixers. Nerlens Noel will not play for the Knicks and LeBron James will sit out for the Lakers.

11:30 a.m. ET Update: LeBron James has been downgraded to questionable with ankle soreness.

The Philadelphia 76ers have listed Joel Embiid as questionable for Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks. He has been dealing with right knee soreness — the same knee in which he suffered a torn meniscus in the playoffs — since bumping it in the season opener.

Embiid has been listed as questionable for every game since the opener, but still managed to suit up. Backup center Andre Drummond is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury that caused him to sit out on Sunday.

The Knicks hope to have backup center Nerlens Noel available for the first time this season. Knick head coach said Noel was "50-50" to play after the team's practice on Monday.

LeBron James is listed as probable for the Los Angeles Lakers' first road game of the season in San Antonio. James appeared to hurt his ankle Sunday after Desmond Bane fell into his leg driving for a layup, but was able to continue playing despite some soreness.

The Lakers are still dealing with injuries to some of their key rotation players with Kendrick Nunn and Wayne Ellington sidelined.
