NBA Injury News
2 p.m. ET Update: Giannis Antetokounmpo is out Monday against the Indiana Pacers with a sprained knee.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been removed from the injury report after missing the game on Sunday due to a shoulder issue, however, the Thunder will be without Lu Dort and Al Horford.
The Boston Celtics will be without Tristan Thompson, and Kemba Walker Monday when they face the Memphis Grizzlies.
John Wall isn't on the injury report for Monday's matchup and appears good to go on the second leg of a back-to-back. Victor Oladipo, however, will sit out tonight's game.
It was a brutal weekend in the NBA on the injury front. First LeBron James went down with a high ankle sprain that could sideline for several weeks. Then rookie of the year favorite LaMelo Ball went down with a wrist injury, dealing a huge blow to the upstart Charlotte Hornets.
Per our NBA Insiders tool:
Ball has been diagnosed with a broken bone in his right wrist, according to Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN has repoted that Ball is expected to miss the remainder of the season, but he's seeking a second opinion to confirm the diagnosis. Devonte' Graham will likely return to the starting lineup while Terry Rozier also takes on a larger offensive role.
Rozier, who also left that game with an injury to his hip is expected to play Monday night against the San Antonio Spurs.
Rudy Gobert is questionable due to a hip injury heading into Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. He was a game-time decision on Friday where he ended up playing 35 minutes and it's possible the same scenario happens on Monday.
