NBA Injury News
7:30 p.m. ET Update: Nikola Jokic has been ruled out Friday for the Denver Nuggets' home matchup with the Chicago Bulls due to a wrist injury.
7 p.m. ET Update: LeBron James has been cleared to return to the court after missing the past eight games with an abdominal injury. Anthony Davis will also start after being listed as probable.
6:30 p.m. ET Update: Dennis Schroder is available to play for the Celtics after being considered a game-time decision with an ankle injury. Robert Williams has been ruled out Friday with a knee injury.
The New Orleans Pelicans will be without Devonte' Graham who was originally questionable with a foot injury.
A number of stars have been ruled out for Friday's nine-game slate. Luka Doncic will sit out for the second time this week against the Phoenix Suns due to a knee and ankle injury.
Draymond Green and Steph Curry have both been ruled out Friday ahead of a game against the Detroit Pistons due to a thigh injury and hip injury respectively. Andre Iguodala is also out Friday due to a knee injury.
Kevin Durant won't play against the Orlando Magic as he rests a sore shoulder that has been bothering him early in the season.
Jaylen Brown, who was initially questionable, will sit out out Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers (his seventh straight missed game) due to a strained right hamstring. Dennis Schroder is also questionable to play as he deals with a left ankle sprain.
On the other side of that matchup, LeBron James, who entered the day questionable, is now a game-time decision with an abdominal injury. James has missed eight games for the Lakers with the abdominal injury and missed two games earlier this season with an ankle injury, so the Lakers will be uber cautious.
Nikola Jokic is also questionable Friday with a wrist injury ahead of a big game against the visiting Chicago Bulls. On the upside, Will Barton and rookie Bones Hyland have been upgraded to probable for the Nuggets who are already quite thin in terms of depth.
