NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (April 12): Jamal Murray Cleared to Return Monday article feature image

Below are the projected starting lineups for each team playing on Monday's NBA slate, along with notable injury news for each squad. For Tuesday's injury report, click here.

NBA Injury News

9 p.m. ET Update: Jamal Murray is available to play Monday after missing the past four games due to a sore right knee.


7 p.m. ET Update: Kyle Kuzma and Dennis Schroder will start on Monday; Wesley Matthews and Marc Gasol are available to play off the bench.


6:30 p.m. ET Update: Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out for rest on the second night of a back-to-back. Maxi Kleber and JJ Redick have been cleared to play. Redick is returning after sitting out 18 games with a heel injury and head coach Rick Carlisle guessed Redick could play 10-15 minutes in his Mavericks debut.


2 p.m. ET Update: Karl-Anthony Towns will miss Monday's game for personal reasons. De'Anthony Melton has been ruled out for his fifth straight game on Monday as he continues to deal with a sore leg. Gary Harris is out Monday due to adductor injury maintenance.


1:30 p.m. ET Update: Lonzo Ball has been ruled out for the New Orleans Pelicans Monday with a sore hip flexor.

Kristaps Porzingis is listed questionable agains the Philadelphia 76ers with right knee injury recovery Monday in the second leg of a back-to-back. JJ Redick has been upgraded to questionable as he continues to recover from a sore heel following a procedure.


Jamal Murray, who has missed four games in a row, including Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics, is again listed as questionable on Monday with knee soreness.

Lonzo Ball is doubtful for the third game in a row after previously returning for the Pelicans for three games. Ball has been dealing with a hip injury since late March and has missed nine of the past 12 Pelicans games.

The Los Angeles Lakers continue their road trip with a game against the New York Knicks Monday and have a hobbled bunch. Kyle Kuzma, Wesley Matthews and Marc Gasol are listed all listed as questionable for tonight's game. Kuzma has missed the past two games with a strained calf, Gasol missed Saturday's game with hamstring injury and Matthews sat with a sore Achilles.

The Lakers do have some encouraging news surrounding the return of their two stars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Davis will be re-evaluated on Thursday and could return in 10-to-14 days while James is reportedly on track to return to the lineup in about three weeks.

Monday night's Nets vs. Timberwolves game has been postponed in wake of the police shooting of Daunte Wright in Minnesota, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
