NBA Injury News

2:30 p.m. ET Update: The Philadelphia 76ers have ruled out Joel Embiid for Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers for rest. Embiid had been questionable for several games after knocking knees in the season opener but had played every game up to today.

Ja Morant is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets with a sore right elbow.

The Washington Wizards have cleared center Daniel Gafford to play on Monday after he previously suffering a quad injury last week.

Kevin Love is expected to miss several games for the Cleveland Cavaliers due to health and safety protocols.


Malcolm Brogdon, who has been dealing with a hamstring strain, is listed as questionable Monday ahead of a matchup with the San Antonio Spurs after missing two games. Caris LeVert, who made his season debut Saturday and played 19 minutes, is also listed as questionable with back soreness.

Toronto Raptors rookie Scottie Barnes is doubtful ahead of a game against the New York Knicks after injuring his thumb. The Raptors said X-Rays were negative after he sustained the injury over the weekend. On the other side of that matchup, backup center Nerlens Noel is questionable as he continues to rehab from a knee injury.

Daniel Gafford is questionable for the Washington Wizards ahead of their game against the Atlanta Hawks. Gafford missed the Wizards' past two games after going down with a quad injury last week.
