Wednesday NBA Injury News
8:25 p.m. ET Update: Kawhi Leonard will sit out for the third straight game with a lower leg injury.
6 p.m. ET Update: Ben Simmons will miss Wednesday's game due to an illness. The Sixers will also be without Shake Milton who has an ankle injury. Joel Embiid will be active for tonight's game after missing two games with back injury.
The Rockets will be without Victor Oladipo and PJ Tucker on Wednesday. Oladipo is out for the third straight game due to a strained right foot and Tucker is sidelined for the second straight game with a left quad contusion.
2:30 p.m. ET Update: Gary Harris and Monte Morris (shoulder) have been upgraded to questionable for the Nuggets Wednesday, while Nikola Jokic is probable. Paul Millsap (knee), Will Barton (personal), and PJ Dozier (hamstring) are out.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been cleared to play Wednesday after missing the past four games with a sprained left knee, though he may be subject to a minutes restriction. Al Horford will rest on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Utah Jazz have been rolling lately, maintaining the best record in the league without their starting point guard Mike Conley. But they could see him return as Conley has upgraded to questionable after missing the past five games with a tight right hamstring.
The Los Angeles Clippers continue to monitor Kawhi Leonard who has missed the past two games with a lower left leg contusion. Leonard has been listed as questionable while Paul George and Nicolas Batum have both been ruled out for tonight's game against the Jazz.
Victor Oladipo and Eric Gordon (groin) are listed doubtful for for the Houston Rockets' road game against the Philadelphia 76ers, while PJ Tucker (thigh) is questionable. All three missed the Rockets' game on Monday. On the other side of that matchup, Joel Embiid is listed probable for Wednesday after missing Monday's game with a tight back.
The Boston Celtics are expected to be without Kemba Walker on the second leg of a back-to-back after he played 31 minutes on Tuesday.
