NBA Injury News

The Atlanta Hawks expect to have Trae Young available Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies. Young popped up on the injury report Friday with a left ankle sprain, but he's listed as probable.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is also on the injury report and is questionable with left hamstring soreness. Bogdanovic has dealt with various injuries but has only missed one game on the season so far.

Nikola Jokic is again questionable to play for the Denver Nuggets entering their game against the Milwaukee Bucks Friday. Jokic has missed three games with a sore wrist and was a late scratch against the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday.

The Nuggets are dealing with a number of injuries up and down the lineup: Michael Porter Jr. will be out for a while with a back injury, P.J. Dozier suffered a torn ACL Tuesday and is out indefinitely and rookie Bones Hyland is doubtful with an ankle sprain.

Jaylen Brown played limited minutes — 22 minutes vs. the Houston Rockets and 23 minutes vs. the Brooklyn Nets — in his two games back from a hamstring injury and is questionable to play Friday against the San Antonio Spurs.

The New York Knicks have listed Derrick Rose as questionable Friday against the Phoenix Suns after he missed their game on Tuesday with an ankle injury. Mitchell Robinson is also questionable as he recovers from a concussion. He is considered day-to-day, but the Knicks are thin up front with Taj Gibson also questionable and Nerlens Noel playing through injuries.

The Sacramento Kings have listed Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes as questionable for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Holmes missed the Kings' last game with an eye contusion and Barnes is dealing with a foot injury that sidelined him in the middle of Wednesday's game.

On the other side of that matchup, LeBron James is questionable again with an abdominal injury — it is likely a formality as it has been since he returned to the court, but James played a season-high 43 minutes on Wednesday. Anthony Davis is not listed on the injury report after sitting out Wednesday with flu-like symptoms, which could mean he'll be available to return.
