NBA Injury News
6:50 p.m. ET Update: Ben Simmons has been ruled out due to an illness and Tobias Harris will sit with knee soreness.
6 p.m. ET Update: The Pacers have announced Myles Turner has suffered a partial tear of his plantar plate in the great toe of his right foot. Turner will be out indefinitely.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Stephen Curry "should be good to go" Monday after tweaking his left ankle late in the previous game. Kelly Oubre will be available to play off the bench after missing the past five games due to a sore left wrist.
Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for the second straight game due to a sprained ankle. Tyler Herro is also out with a sore foot.
5:30 p.m. ET Update: Kemba Walker is out with an illness. Doc Rivers said Tobias Harris is "pretty much out" Monday as he deals with a sore knee. George Hill is probable to play for the first time since Jan. 24.
2 p.m. ET Update: The Heat will be without Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo (knee) on the second night of a back-to-back on Monday.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will sit Josh Hall, Lu Dort, Isaiah Roby, and Mike Muscala Monday night.
Stephen Curry is questionable to play against the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night. Curry appeared to tweak his left ankle in the final quarter of the loss on Saturday. He ranks third in the NBA with a 35.6% usage rate in April and is averaging 39.9 points per game for the month. If he can't go, Jordan Poole, or Nico Mannion would likely get the starting spot.
In that same game, the Philadelphia 76ers listed Tobias Harris, Seth Curry, George Hill and Dwight Howard as questionable. All four were out of the lineup Friday with Furkan Korkmaz and Mike Scott starting in place of Curry and Harris.
The Boston Celtics have four players listed on their injury report for Monday — all starters. Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker are questionable due to an illness, Jayson Tatum is probable with a sore ankle and Robert Williams is out again with a knee injury.
The Utah Jazz have listed Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley as probable for tonight's game against the Los Angeles Lakers after they missed Saturday's game with knee issues. Derrick Favors and Ersan Ilyasova are also questionable for Monday's game.
The Lakers have listed Marc Gasol, Dennis Schroder, Andre Drummond, and Markieff Morris as probable for tonight's game. Schroder has been playing with an infection in his right foot. Gasol has a fracture in his left pinkie, but he won't play unless Drummond can't play through his lingering toe injury.
The Miami Heat have listed Jimmy Butler as questionable for Monday's game against the Houston Rockets. Tonight's game comes on the second leg of a back-to-back and Butler was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Brooklyn Nets with the ankle injury.
The Memphis Grizzlies have a lengthy injury report for Monday night's game against the Denver Nuggets. Brandon Clarke, Dillon Brooks, Justise Winslow, and De'Anthony Melton are all questionable.
Winslow has missed the past 12 games with a thigh injury, Melton has missed eight with a leg injury and Clarke has missed the past two with a sore hip. Jonas Valanciunas was placed in the concussion protocol and has been ruled out for Monday's game.
There is good news for the Grizzlies on the horizon, though. Jaren Jackson Jr., who hasn't played in eight months after suffering a torn meniscus, is listed as doubtful for Monday's game. While it's unlikely he'll actually suit up, it's a good sign that he's somewhat close to a return to game action.
