NBA Injury News

The Golden State Warriors expect to have Stephen Curry back in the lineup for Game 1 of their Round 1 series against the Denver Nuggets. Curry was able to practice in full and is listed as probable on the official injury reports.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr talked to reporters Friday and told them that Curry is, "optimistic that he’ll play Saturday, but we’ll have to re-evaluate tomorrow to see how his foot responds overnight. Right now, things are looking good."

Kerr previously said that Curry would likely be on a minutes limit that's capped at 30, but he would start if available.

For the Nuggets, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. remain out, but there is optimism that Murray could see the floor at some point in the series, according to team president Tim Connelly.

The news is not looking good for Luka Doncic who is listed as doubtful on the official injury report with calf strain. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there are concerns that Doncic could miss the first two games of this series in Dallas.

The Mavericks will also be without backup guard Frank Ntilikina after he had his tonsils removed. Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie will likely get extra minutes with the Mavs thin in the ball-handler department.
