NBA Injury News

6:30 p.m. ET Update: Trae Young has been cleared to play for the Hawks Thursday night after missing two games with a strained calf. Giannis Antetokounmpo will return for the Bucks after missing six games with a sore knee. Donte DiVincenzo has been ruled out Thursday due to a sore toe.

Danilo Gallinari has been ruled out for his third straight game as he continues to deal with a sore foot.

Collin Sexton will return to the Cleveland Cavaliers' lineup Thursday after missing the previous two games due to a strained groin. Kelly Oubre will sit out against the Cavaliers for the fourth straight game due to a sore wrist.

Robert Williams has somewhat surprisingly been ruled out for the Boston Celtics due to a sore knee. He was added to the injury report earlier Thursday and there was no prior word heading in that he was even dealing with a knee injury.

There are just four games on Thursday night's schedule and the key news to watch centers around two players in the same game.

Trae Young is listed as questionable tonight in a matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Young has missed two games in a row entering Thursday due to a strain in his calf and had missed just three games all season before sitting out with the injury.

On the other side of that matchup, Giannis Antetokounmpo is also questionable to play. Antetokounmpo been out since April 3 and has missed six games in a row for the Bucks.

As we noted in yesterday's injury report, Antetokounmpo did practice fully on Tuesday, however, head coach Mike Budenholzer decided against playing him Wednesday night on the first leg of a back-to-back.

In Thursday's late TNT game, the Los Angeles Lakers have five players — Andre Drummond, Marc Gasol, Kyle Kuzma, Dennis Schroder and Wesley Matthews — listed as probable. Markieff Morris, who sat out the Lakers' most recent game is questionable with an ankle injury.
