NBA Injury News
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been designated probable heading into Game 4 on Saturday due to a sore left groin. Outside of playing 45 minutes in the Game 1 overtime win, Antetokounmpo hasn't had to exceed 33 minutes in the subsequent games due to the lopsided scores.
Donte DiVincenzo suffered a torn ligament in his left ankle and will miss the rest of the playoffs. He suffered the injury during the second quarter of the Bucks' Game 3 win on Thursday, and it was Bryn Forbes who started the second half in his place. DiVincenzo's injury is a big blow for the team's wing depth and will mean extended minutes for both Forbes and Pat Connaughton moving forward.
Barton will remain out for Game 4 on Saturday as he continues to deal with a strained hamstring. He's reportedly getting close to a return and went through dribbling and shooting exercises before Thursday's contest. The Nuggets will exercise some caution after taking a 2-1 lead in the series.
Seth Curry is officially listed probable heading into Game 3 on Saturday after missing the tail end of the win on Wednesday due to a sore ankle. He didn't practice Friday, but coach Rivers thinks he'll be able to play Saturday. Tobias Harris went through most of practice and is fully expected to play Saturday despite a sore ankle as he is not included on the injury report.
Russell Westbrook is officially listed questionable heading into Game 3 on Saturday due to a sprained ankle suffered in the Game 2 loss.
He was unable to practice Friday, and he did not record a triple-double in either of the first two games while struggling to shoot from the field. Given his history of playing through injuries, it would be pretty surprising if he wasn't able to go, and we'll keep an eye on whether he'll have any sort of limitations heading into Saturday's contest.
