NBA Injury News
Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle stated Kleber was a limited participant in Monday's practice and will be listed questionable for Game 2 on Tuesday due to a sore right Achilles injury that has lingered since the end of the regular season.
Kleber returned to the starting lineup for Game 1 and played 36 minutes as the primary defending on Kawhi Leonard. If Kleber is limited or unable to play, Dwight Powell or Willie Cauley-Stein could receive additional minutes.
Neither the Phoenix Suns or Los Angeles Lakers have key players officially listed on the injury report, but multiple players are worth keeping an eye on.
Chris Paul had to leave Game 1 against the with a shoulder injury, and while he did return to play, he didn't appear to be able to fully use his right shoulder. Head coach Monty Williams said to reporters Monday that "He’s nowhere near as sore as he was yesterday, but he’s still sore.” Paul told reporters immediately after the game that he would "absolutely" be ready for Game 2.
LeBron James also appeared to hurt his shoulder during the game but said he would be ready for Game 2 as well.
