It is unclear which illness Maxey is under the weather with.

The 76ers were 5-point underdogs against the Knicks as of early Monday morning. Since the news of Maxey's illness, the line has moved to 76ers +6.

Maxey had 33 points, four assists, two rebounds and two blocks in Game 1 against the Knicks as he led the team in scoring. Maxey was second on the team in scoring throughout the season, averaging 25.9 points per game.

The Sixers find themselves down 1-0 in the series after a 111-104 loss in Game 1.

If they don't have Maxey for Game 2, the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference could be in serious trouble. Embiid's status for Game 2 is also in question after he went down with an injury in Game 1. He returned for the second half of the game.

Could tonight be the night for a Maxey flu game?
