NBA Monday Predictions, Picks
- Dyson Daniels Steals + De'Aaron Fox Turnovers Parlay
- Joel Embiid Under 24.5 Points
- Jakob Poeltl Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds
- Rockets vs. Bucks Over 219
- Warriors -2.5 vs. Clippers
Hawks at Kings – Dyson Daniels Steals + De'Aaron Fox Turnovers Parlay
By Jim Turvey
"The Kings are without Sabonis and Monk, which forces De'Aaron Fox into a high-usage role. That’s led to totals of four and six turnovers in his last two games. Dyson Daniels is coming off a game where he recorded six steals, and his defensive activity makes this parlay highly correlated."
Pick: Dyson Daniels Over 2.5 Steals + De'Aaron Over 4.5 Fox Turnovers Parlay
76ers at Heat – Joel Embiid Points Prop
By Joe Dellera
"Joel Embiid has struggled against Bam Adebayo’s physical defense throughout his career. In their last nine matchups, he’s gone under this number seven times. Even with a favorable game script, I don’t see Embiid hitting this total given his minutes and Miami’s defensive schemes."
Pick: Joel Embiid Under 24.5 Points
Pacers at Raptors – Raptors Center Jakob Poeltl Points + Rebounds
By Jim Turvey
"Poeltl thrives in matchups like these, where the pace is high, and his size is a mismatch. Against Indiana, his rebounding opportunities increase significantly, and his scoring around the basket should follow. If Poeltl gets his typical minutes, this number feels too low."
Pick: Jakob Poeltl Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds
Rockets at Bucks – Total Prediction
By Matt Moore
"People think that this is a hardcore defensive matchup. It does face two top 10 defenses, but these two teams are better offensively than you think. Houston is 12th offensively and Milwaukee's 14th and they're starting to tick in the right direction. Milwaukee's still losing, but they're getting better. Also, when you face a tough defense like this, you know what they do? They run. Giannis is going to run a lot. They don't have a wing defender outside of Tari Eason to be able to kind of stand up to and defend him.
So, I think this is actually going be a faster-paced game, and I will go ahead and say that this is going to wind up being an over-play at 219. If you wake up and this is 221, no play. 220 is probably my cutoff for this, but I do like it at 219 if it moves the other direction.
Pick: Over 219
Warriors at Clippers – Spread Pick
By Matt Moore
"The Warriors are 85% ATS on the road, and. This team adjusts incredibly well in bounce-back spots, especially against division opponents. The Clippers are 4-5 aTS at home on the second night of a back to back. And here's the kicker here. The Warriors, when they have more than one day of rest– they're on two days rest here–and they're on the road, they are 5-1 ATS since the start of last season."
Pick: Warriors -2.5
