The Boston Celtics are 9-5-1 against the spread when playing on two or three days of rest this year, and they are 13-9-1 with a rest advantage in general. Coming off the loss, the Celtics are 8-6 against the spread and are 14-4 in their last 18 games.
They are laying a huge number after the Hawks won in a 30-point comeback three nights ago. They are 9-3 against the spread when favored by 13+ points. Jrue Holiday is on the injury report after missing Saturday and Monday so stay tuned for that, but the table is set for the Celtics to dominate in this one.
The Hawks are 4-8 ATS on no rest and are playing their fourth game in six nights, all at home. They are 5-14 with the rest disadvantage this season, which is the worst in the NBA. Overall, this is a Celtics spot for me.
Pick: Celtics -16 (-115)
Bucks vs. Hawks Under 223.5 (-110)
8:00 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA TV
I think if New Orleans wants to compete in this game, they have to grind it out.
I don't think they have the firepower to get into a shootout without Brandon Ingram and I think the line is a little weird with a small lean towards the Bucks. We are still waiting for Milwaukee to show that they are the team to beat in the east so with that being said, I like the under here.
Since BI went out, the Pelicans are 2-1 straight up. Giannis has looked gassed of late and both teams have been playing under games in a competitive atmosphere. The over has hit in this matchup seven straight times, and I think the trend "bucks" here.
Pick: Under 223.5 (-110)
Bucks vs. Hawks Under 223.5 (-110)

Both teams are coming off tough losses. The Pelicans were unable to complete the comeback against the Thunder last time out. The Bucks, similar to the Celtics on Monday night, blew a 19-point lead to the Lakers in the fourth quarter.
The Bucks are only 10-14-1 ATS after a loss and are 12-14 as road favorites. We are both looking at the total here. I agree with AC here.
Before that Bucks-Lakers game went to double overtime, the under was going to smash and I see both teams bringing the defensive intensity in a playoff-type atmosphere.
I am worried that the Bucks don't have anyone that can guard the back-court and the Pelicans are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.
Pick: Under 223.5 (-110)
