Tonight, we are expecting Anthony Davis to have a monster game. In his career against Domantas Sabonis, AD has averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds across 14 games.
It’s simple, his physicality owns Sabonis. Tonight, I see things going the exact same way. Get AD the ball in the post and let him work.
The Mavericks also have their roster set up to do some damage tonight, where if AD is posting up, they have enough shooting ability between Spencer Dinwiddie, PJ Washington, and of course a Hall of Fame sharpshooter in Klay Thompson.
This will truly limit how often the Kings can double-team Davis.
On the rebounding end, facing off against a fast-paced Kings team, expect Davis to get a ton of opportunities to crash the glass.
