NBA Parlay Picks for Monday, February 3
Rockets vs. Knicks Same Game Parlay
- Knicks Moneyline
- Jalen Green 15+ Points
- Karl-Anthony Towns 25+ Points
Parlay Payout: -120
The New York Knicks will host the Houston Rockets from Madison Square Garden on Monday Night. Houston comes into this contest sporting a record of 32-16. Few teams in the NBA have been more surprising than the Rockets have.
Entering the season, Houston was not expected to be a playoff team. The Rockets posted a 41-41 record last season, which was a significant improvement from 2023, when they went 22-60. Houston has not reached the playoffs since the 2020 season, when they went 44-28. Ime Udoka's team begins the week as the third seed in the West.
The Rockets will attempt to snap a modest two-game slide tonight. Former second-overall pick Jalen Green leads the Rockets with 21.5 points per game. Big man Alperen Sengun has averaged 19.1 points per game and a team-high 10.4 rebounds. Veteran Fred VanVleet has added 14.6 points per game and team-leading 5.8 assists.
New York has been one of the best teams in the East as we approach the All-Star break. The Knicks have a 32-17 record, the third-best in the East. the Knicks trail the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers by eight games in the Conference. Tom Thibedous's team is 7-3 over their last 10 games.
On Saturday Night, New York lost at home against the Los Angeles Lakers as a 10-point favorite. However, the Knicks tend to play their best basketball at the Garden, with a record of 17-9. That record is the second-best home record in the East.
Jalen Brunson leads the team with 25.7 points per game and 7.5 assists. Former Kentucky standout Karl Anthony Towns has been great in year one with New York, averaging 24.3 points per game and 13.6 rebounds. Mikal Bridges has added 18.1 points and 3.1 rebounds.
New York should be able bounce back tonight after an awful showing at home on Saturday. As previously mentioned, the Knicks have been among the best home teams in the NBA this season. Houston is in a tough spot on the road tonight.
This leg should be the safest bet of the parlay.
Jalen Green has averaged 21.5 points per game this season and 25.7 points per game in January.
The 22-year-old has cashed this prop in 14 of his last 16 games.
The Knicks' big man is coming off one of his worst shooting games of the season. Karl-Anthony Towns shot 3-12 in a loss on Saturday, and is now due for a big-time bounce-back game.
Houston has struggled lately to protect the rim.
Over their last three games, they have allowed the third-most points per game in the paint (59.3).
Bucks vs. Thunder Same Game Parlay
- Giannis Antetokounmpo 12+ Rebounds
- Damian Lillard 20+ Points
- Shai-Gilgeous Alexander 30+ Points
- Isaiah Hartenstein 4+ Assists
Parlay Payout: +274
The Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder will meet at the Paycom Center for a heavy-weight battle. Milwaukee is coming off a tough loss at home against the Grizzlies last night. The Bucks led most of the game but were outscored 39-20 in the fourth quarter.
Doc Rivers' team has posted a 26-21 record on the season. After a slow start to the year, the Bucks have been one of the best teams in the East since December. Milwaukee begins this game as the fifth seed in the East.
One area the Bucks have struggled this year is playing on the road. Their 9-13 road record is the second-worst of any playoff team in the NBA.
The Bucks have reached the playoffs in eight straight seasons. Milwaukee won the NBA Finals in 2021. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the team with 31.8 points per game and 12.2 rebounds, and he ranks second in the NBA in points per game.
The Bucks and Thunder both play at a great pace. Giannis has cashed this prop in seven of his last eight games.
NBA teams have averaged 54.9 rebounds per game against the Thunder this year, the second-highest average in the league.
The Thunder enter this game with a 38-9 record. That is the second-best record in the NBA. Entering the season, OKC was the betting favorite to win the West. As we approach the all-star break, OKC has the second-best odds of winning the Finals (+245). Only the Celtics have shorter odds (+240).
The Thunder reached the playoffs for the first time since 2020 last season. Oklahoma City swept the New Orleans Pelicans in the opening round of the playoffs, but lost in six games in the conference semifinals against the Mavericks. The last NBA Championship for this franchise came in 1979 when they were the Seattle Super Sonics.
The Thunder have won seven of their last 10 games. The Thunder's 20-3 home record is the best in the West and second-best in the NBA. Former Kentucky standout Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the Thunder with 32.4 points per game, which leads the NBA.
Jalen Williams has averaged 21.1 points per game and 5.2 assists. However, he is listed as questionable for tonight's game due to a wrist injury, and SGA has played his best basketball in big games this season. So, I'll back him to score 30+ points tonight.
Veteran Damian Lillard has been great for the Bucks with 25.0 points per game and a team-high 7.3 assists.
Lillard has crushed this number lately. Over his last 14 games, Lillard has cashed this prop in 13 of them.
Last night snapped Lillard's 20+ point streak. So, I'll back him to bounce back with a 20+ point performance tonight.
Big man Isaiah Hartenstien has averaged 11.7 points and 12.5 rebounds, which has led the team in the rebounding department.
The Thunder still await the return of former first-round pick Chet Holmgren. Holmgren averaged 16.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
Hartenstein will be heavily involved in the game tonight, mainly in pick-and-roll action.
The Bucks rank third in points allowed per game in paint (45.6 PPG). Hartenstien will be in a distribution roll tonight, leading to assist opportunities.
