This matchup should be the best of the night. OKC comes into this game with a record of 44-9, the best in the NBA, and entered the season as the betting favorite to win the Western Conference. There is no team in the NBA with a brighter future than this Thunder team.

OKC has won seven consecutive games and eight of their last ten. Former Kentucky star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the team with 32.6 points per game and 6.0 assists.

Minnesota rolls into the game with a record of 30-25. The Timberwolves started slowly this season but have been playing much better basketball lately and have won six of their last ten games. The up-and-down season places Minnesota seventh in the Western Conference.

All-Star Anthony Edwards leads the Timberwolves with 27.5 points per game. The former Georgia superstar has been red-hot lately. Edwards has exceeded this number in four straight games, averaging 40.5 points per game. We will see another big-time performance from Edwards in prime time tonight.

My Pick: Anthony Edwards 25+ Points

Trey Murphy Over 22.5 Points

Sacramento's season has been wild, as they fired former head coach Mike Brown and traded superstar De'Aaron Fox. The Kings begin this matchup with a record of 28-26, and added former all-star Zach Lavine in the Fox trade in hopes of sparking a playoff run.

They will head into the all-star break in a play-in position in the Western Conference. Veteran DeMar DeRozan leads the team with 21.9 points per game.

New Orleans has had a forgettable season with a record of 12-42, the worst in the West. Head Coach Willie Greens's team went 49-33 last season, reaching the playoffs. The Pelicans are paced for their worst year since 2012. Zion Williamson leads the team with 24.4 points per game.

Trey Murphy has averaged 22.5 points per game this season and is in a strong position to exceed this number tonight. We will team up with our Action Network pro report for this one since it projects 28.40 points for Murphy tonight, giving us a 30.8 percent edge on this prop.

My Pick: Trey Murphy Over 22.5 Points

The Clippers roll into this contest with a 30-23 record. The first half of the season has gone well for this team, which has championship aspirations. When fully healthy, they have proven to be one of the best teams in the West. Los Angeles has reached the post-season in five of the last six seasons. Norman Powell leads the Clippers with 23.8 points per game.

The Jazz begin the game with a record of 13-40. Utah entered the season expecting to finish near the bottom of the West, and it has lived up to those expectations. Head Coach Will Hardy's team has not reached the post-season since 2022, and went 31-51 last season. Lauri Markkanen leads the Jazz with 19.5 points per game.

My pick here is Norman Powell, the Clippers' best offensive weapon this season. Our Action Pro reports project 27.57 points tonight for him. We will see a strong performance tonight after Powell's sluggish performance last night.

My Pick: Norman Powell 20+ Points
