Heat vs Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET

Boston comes into the matchup with a record of 37-16. That strong record places it second in the Eastern Conference, only trailing the first-place to the Cleveland Cavaliers by 5.5 games.

Entering the season, Boston was the betting favorite to repeat as NBA Champions. The Celtics remain the betting favorite (+240). They have been on a roll lately, winning seven of their last ten games.

On Saturday Night, the Celtics dominated the New York Knicks in the Garden with a 131-104 win. Joe Mazzullas's team won the first head-to-head matchup 108-89 over the Heat on December
2nd.

The Celtics are the best road team in the NBA this season, with a 21-6 record. All-star Jayson Tatum leads the team with 26.9 points per game, 8.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists, with Jaylen Brown also enjoying a strong year with 22.9 points and 6.0 rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis has added 19.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.

The Celtics have averaged 117.5 points per game.

Miami comes to this matchup with a 25-25 record. Erik Spoelstra's team has had an up-and-down season, having previously been among the most consistent in the NBA.

Currently seventh place in the East, the Heat have reached the postseason in five consecutive years. Former All-Star Jimmy Butler entered the season as the Heats franchise player, but he was unhappy with his situation in Miami this season, which resulted in multiple suspensions.

Miami traded Butler to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson, and a
protected first-round pick. The Heat are hopeful that the trade will spark this team.

Former Kentucky standout Tyler Herro leads the team with 23.7 points per game and 5.6
assists. Big man Bam Adebayo has averaged a double-double with 17.0 points and 10.0 rebounds. 21-year-old Nikola Jovic has added 11.0 points and 3.0 assists per game. Miami has averaged 110.5 points per game.

The Celtics are the overwhelming public favorite, with 74 percent of the bets on Boston tonight. However, we will trust the home underdog to earn the cover tonight. The Heat have played their best basketball at home this season with a record of 12-10, while Boston has struggled as a betting favorite with a 20-29-2 record ATS this season.
