NBA Player Prop Pick for Saturday, Dec. 7
- Dejounte Murray Under 29.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115, Caesars)
Thunder vs. Pelicans Player Prop
New Orleans finally played a game with all of Murray, Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, and Trey Murphy. Murray was the clear loser, seeing declines across the board. He was 5th or worse on the team in usage, assist rate, and rebounding rate.
It's a 1-game sample, so the distribution of duties could certainly change. I'm just surprised Murray's PRA line is the highest on the team. He's struggled this season regardless of who's been healthy for New Orleans. The extra competition can't help.
Oklahoma City is one of the more challenging matchups in the league. The Thunder rank 1st in defensive rating and 2nd in points allowed per game. They're allowing the 4th-fewest assists per game. Isaiah Hartenstein's arrival has been a big boost on the glass.
The Thunder are holding opponents to the lowest shooting percentage in the league, which likely won't help Murray break out of his shooting slump today.
Pick: Dejounte Murray Under 29.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists
