Each day, I publish at least one quick-n’-dirty piece highlighting a favorite prop of mine. See my master list of 2019 prop bets for more information.

Also follow me in The Action Network app, where each day I post additional, official player prop picks: Today we have 10-game NHL and six-game NBA slates.

Freedman’s Favorite NBA Player Prop for Tuesday, March 5: Marc Gasol Over/Under 8.0 Rebounds

  • Over 8.0: -115
  • Under 8.0: -115

Today's NBA slate is highlighted by the Raptors-Rockets game (8:00 p.m. ET, TNT), and new Toronto center Marc Gasol's rebounds props looks investable.

This year Gasol is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game, and last year he had 8.1, but since the Grizzlies traded him to the Raptors eight games ago, his average has plummeted to 6.4.

We have him projected for 5.8 rebounds in the FantasyLabs Props Tool, so I really like the under.

With the Grizzlies, Gasol had 33.0 minutes per game last year and 33.7 this year. But with the Raptors, he's had just 24.3 minutes per game.

In the FantasyLabs NBA Models, we’re projecting Gasol for just 22.5 minutes, so we're not expecting him to have a wealth of rebounding opportunities.

In not one of his eight games with the Raptors has Gasol had more than eight rebounds.

I’d bet under 8.0 rebounds all the way down to -135.

The Pick: Under 8.0 (-115)
