  • Monday night features a nine-game NBA slate.
  • This piece will focus on prop bets offering value for Knicks center Enes Kanter, Mavericks shooting guard Luka Doncic, Grizzlies center Marc Gasol and Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal.

Prop bets can be a great way to get action on a game. Bookmakers don’t have to worry about taking a lot of action on them, so there isn’t as great an incentive to post a competitive line.

As a result, props can be some of the most exploitable bets on the board.

These props can become downright unfair when you combine them with the FantasyLabs Player Prop tool.

Monday’s best NBA props come from four of the day’s nine contests:

  • Milwaukee Bucks vs. New York Knicks — 8 p.m. ET
  • Dallas Mavericks vs. Chicago Bulls — 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Utah Jazz vs. Memphis Grizzlies — 9 p.m. ET
  • Portland Trail Blazers vs. Washington Wizards — 10 p.m. ET

Let’s dive right in.

All odds as of 3 p.m. ET.

Knicks C Enes Kanter

The Pick: Over 11.5 rebounds (-114)

Kanter is one of the best rebounders in the league, ranking third in total rebound rate last season.

His overall rebound numbers were dragged down by playing an average of just 25.8 minutes per game, but that doesn’t appear to be a problem this season: He’s averaged 31.3 minutes per game through his first three games.

Kanter also has a nice matchup vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, who were the second-worst rebounding team in the league in 2017-18.

This is a big number, but Kanter has pulled down at least 10 boards in each game this season. I would play this prop up to -135.

Mavs SG Luka Doncic

The Pick: Over 16.5 points (-143)

Doncic exploded for 26 points in his last game and appears to be in another great spot today vs. the Chicago Bulls.

Chicago has played at the sixth-fastest pace and has allowed the fifth-most points per 100 possessions to start the season, and the Mavs' implied team total of 117.5 ranks third on today’s slate.

Doncic has posted a usage rate of 28.8% through his first two professional games and should remain heavily involved with Harrison Barnes still sidelined due to a hamstring injury.

This is opened at 15 and was one of my favorite props of the early season at that number. I still like it at 16.5. Doncic is a baller, so I’d play this prop as high as 18 points.

Grizzlies C Marc Gasol

The Pick: Under four assists (-114)

Gasol has been limited to start the season, playing 30 minutes or fewer in each of his first two games. That limits the amount of damage he can do, especially in a brutal matchup against the Jazz.

These were two of the six slowest teams in the league last season, so points should be at a premium for the Grizzlies in today’s contest: Their implied team total of 102 points is the second-lowest mark on the slate.

It’s hard to rack up assists if your team can’t score, so I like this prop up to -140.

Wizards SG Bradley Beal

The Pick: Over 3.5 assists (-114)

Beal has improved greatly as a playmaker over the past year, averaging 4.5 assists over his past 84 regular-season games. He’s handed out at least four assists in 63% of games over that time frame, including six assists in his most recent contest.

The Wizards have a difficult matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, but they’re still implied for 110.5 points on today’s slate.

This prop is rated a 10 out of 10 in the FantasyLabs Player Prop tool, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable playing it at higher than -135.
