We have three NBA player props for this Monday, and we're focused on some key players who could be in line for big (or poor) performances to start the week.
Bulls vs. Pistons sets the stage at 7 p.m. ET, and one of our experts will be betting on Detroit guard Cade Cunningham. Our second pick of the day comes from 76ers vs. Heat, so we will also be taking a look at Sixers guard Kyle Lowry. The third and final player prop on out experts' betting card is for Magic vs. Suns, and Franz Wagner is the player of interest.
Continue below for our NBA player prop picks for Monday, November 18.
NBA Player Props Monday
- Cade Cunningham Over 32.5 Points & Assists (-120, bet365)
- Kyle Lowry Under 13.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-104, Caesars)
- Franz Wagner Under 27.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)
Bulls vs Pistons Player Prop Pick
I just want to keep picking on the Bulls, as they play at the NBA's fastest pace while having the 6th-worst defensive rating. Cunningham averages the 5th-most drives per game (17.3), and the Bulls have no rim stoppers, as they have given up a league-high 59.6 points in the paint per game.
Additionally, no team has given up more assists per game than, you guessed it, the Chicago Bulls. Cunningham has thrived under new Pistons coach J.B. Bickerstaff, as he has posted career highs in points, assists, rebounds, and minutes per game.
Pick: Cade Cunningham Over 32.5 Points & Assists
76ers vs Heat Player Prop Pick
The emergence of Jared McCain has largely come at the expense of Lowry. The rookie has taken on a major role in this offense, leaving Lowry as more of a veteran caretaker. It's probably for the best.
McCain became a legitimate part of the rotation on November 8 against the Lakers. He played a season-high 31 minutes. Since then, he's played 30+ minutes in every game. Lowry has averaged just 4.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in that stretch. His usage rate drops by 2.8% when sharing the floor with McCain. The rookie has been elevated to a starting role the past two games, and that's unlikely to change given his performance. That means more court time alongside Lowry.
Joel Embiid has been downgraded to doubtful tonight, but that shouldn't affect Lowry. He hasn't seen a notable uptick in production with Embiid off the floor going back to last season.
Philadelphia and Miami are bottom-5 in pace. The total is at 212. This should be an ugly game environment.
Pick: Kyle Lowry Under 13.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists
Magic vs Suns Player Prop Pick
Franz Wagner has been great for the Magic this season, and the usage has been incredible since Paolo has been out, but this line is a little high. The total is low, sitting at just 210 in this spot, and the Suns are one of the slowest paced teams in the league.
With Durant and Beal out, it won't surprise me to see the Suns struggle, and this game could potentially get out of hand. Even if this game stays close, this line is probably a little bit too high for Wagner. I have Wagner at a 59% chance of hitting the under here, making this a good EV bet.
Pick: Franz Wagner Under 27.5 Points
