Read below for our NBA player prop picks for Monday, December 2.
NBA Player Props for Monday, Dec. 2
- Jalen Johnson Over 19.5 Points (-105, Caesars)
- Nic Claxton Under 26.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-120, bet365)
- LeBron James Under 39.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-110, DraftKings)
Pelicans vs. Hawks Player Prop Pick
Jalen Johnson continues to be productive night-in and night-out for the Hawks, and he has been in great form recently, as he's gone over at this number in five straight games.
Trae Young has been playing through an Achilles injury recently, and has taken on more of a passive role in this offense, which has been beneficial for Johnson.
The spread in this game is quite wide, so there is a chance of a blowout, but this line is still too low for Johnson. I'll back him to score 20+ points in a favorable matchup against New Orleans tonight.
Pick: Jalen Johnson Over 19.5 Points
Nets vs. Bulls Player Prop Pick
By Kyle Murray
This number is likely a couple notches too high, as I project Nic Claxton for closer to 23 combined points + rebounds + assists in this matchup against the Bulls.
Claxton is not a big usage guy, and he really isn't even that high of a rebound producer for the Nets. When you pair that with his lack of consistent minutes, this screams under for me.
Pick: Nic Claxton Under 26.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists
Lakers vs. Timberwolves Player Prop Pick
LeBron James is always a threat to have a massive game on any given night, but this line is far too high.
The matchup is a tough one versus the Timberwolves, who are near the bottom of the league in pace this season and are an above-average defensive team.
The total is also low for a Lakers game (219), and with an 8-point spread, there is a real chance of a blowout. LeBron is playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, and aside from his first B2B on the third game of the season, LeBron has 37 and 33 PRA in the 2 back-to-backs he's played since then.
LeBron has stayed under this number in four of his last five games, and he's in a bad spot again here, so I don't see King James clearing this bar tonight.
Pick: LeBron James Under 39.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists
