We have two NBA player props for this Sunday, and we're focused on some key players who could be in line for big performances to close the weekend.
Hawks vs. Trail Blazers will set the stage at 6 p.m. ET, and our first prop will be on Blazers forward Jerami Grant. Our second pick of the day comes from Mavericks vs. Thunder, which is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET, so we'll also be taking a look at Mavs superstar guard Luka Doncic.

Hawks vs Trail Blazers Player Prop Pick
Portland is expected to be without both Anfernee Simons and Deandre Ayton today. Grant gets a team-leading 4.3% usage rate boost with both players off the floor this season. He stumbled in this situation on Wednesday, but that was a much tougher matchup. Grant struggled to get anything going against a tough Minnesota defense. He should have an easier time against Atlanta.
The Hawks have the 6th-worst defensive rating. They're allowing the 3rd-most points per game. Atlanta also plays at the 3rd-fastest pace. More importantly, Portland is at home as 3.5-point underdogs. They just grabbed two wins over the Timberwolves and should be able to keep this game close.
Grant has played big minutes when games have been competitive. RotoGrinders has Grant projected for 34 minutes and 25.5 points.

Mavericks vs. Thunder Player Prop Pick
The Thunder have been absolutely incredible on the defensive end this season, but I don't really worry about them stopping Luka in this spot.
Luka is matchup-proof, and with an over/under of 231 points set between the Mavericks and Thunder, points are going to be scored tonight.
With a 5-point spread, this should be a close game, and Luka should get a full compliment of minutes. RotoGrinders has Luka projected for a full four points over this number, and my projections are in agreement.
