Mikal Bridges Over 14.5 Points

Knicks vs Pistons, 7:30 p.m. ET

By Erik Beimfohr

Mikal Bridges had a rough Game 1, particularly scoring-wise, but there were several fluky elements that could lead to a bounce-back in Game 2.

First, he got in foul trouble in the first half, removing somewhere around 2-5 minutes from his rotation. Josh Hart also got in foul trouble, which put a heavy burden on OG Anunoby, and he was cooking, so he continued with a heavy burden all game (and played 44 minutes).

But in the fourth quarter, Cam Payne also got hot, shooting 5-for-5 from the field, which kept Mikal on the bench for basically the entire quarter.

RotoGrinders projects Mikal for more than 16 points tonight, and he went over this number in 4-of-5 games down the stretch, without even playing peak Thibs' playoff minutes.

OG Anunoby Over 17.5 Points

Knicks vs. Pistons, 7:30 p.m. ET

By Charlie Wright

OG Anunoby points was a popular play in Game 1, and he came through with 23 points.

Anunoby has averaged over 22 points per game since the start of March. He was arguably New York's most reliable scorer in the first game of this series, with Jalen Brunson getting off to an uneven start and Karl-Anthony Towns only taking 14 shots.

The most encouraging factor might've been the playing time, as Anunoby was out there for a team-leading 44 minutes.

Detroit put up a nice fight in the first half of Game 1, but their playoff inexperience showed in the second half. They didn't appear equipped to slow down New York's postseason offense.

Detroit was able to dictate pace, playing faster than the Knicks typically played during the regular season. That should continue to be a boost for Anunoby.

Pick: OG Anunoby Over 17.5 Points (-120)
