Walker Kessler Over 0.5 3-Pointers (+140)

Wizards vs. Jazz · 9 p.m. ET

One funnier and more transparent aspect of Utah's tanking plan is forcing Kessler to develop a 3-pointer. Prior to Sunday, he had taken 28 3-pointers in his entire career. He's now chucked 11 over the past two games.

However, there's a difference between being willing to take those shots and actually making them. Kessler is 3-for-17 from beyond the arc this season. He's a 20.5% 3-point shooter for his career. It's an ugly percentage, but the volume will be there.

If he continues to get five or six attempts, we should expect one to go down given his career marks.

Washington sits 24th or worse in opponent 3-point percentage, 3-point attempts per game and 3-point makes per game. This is the right matchup if you're trying to work on your 3-pointer.

I'm just going with a half-unit here.

Pick: Walker Kessler Over 0.5 3-Pointers (+140)

P.J. Washington Over 8.5 Rebounds (-110)

Mavericks vs. Pacers · 7 p.m. ET

By Charlie Wright

Washington returned on Saturday after missing two weeks and immediately slotted back in as the Mavs' top rebounder. He grabbed 12 boards on a team-leading 16 rebound chances.

Washington has handled a massive rebounding role with virtually every Mavs big man sidelined. He should play a healthy amount of center tonight in a good matchup.

The Mavs are the only team that's been worse on the glass than Indiana recently. The Pacers are 29th in rebounding rate over the past 10 games and have given up the fifth-most rebounds per game in that stretch.

Philadelphia is the only team with a worse rebounding rate for the season.

The Pacers have allowed the fourth-most rebounds to power forwards and the seventh-most to centers, depending on how you want to classify Washington.

The spread sits at 10.5 right now, but Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam are questionable. If one or both sit, there's a good chance this game stays competitive.

As long as we get a normal minute allotment for Washington, we should be in an advantageous spot.

Pick: P.J. Washington Over 8.5 Rebounds (-110)

Aaron Wiggins Over 18.5 Points (-115)

76ers vs. Thunder · 8 p.m. ET

By Charlie Wright

OKC will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams tonight. Wiggins has seen a team-leading 8.1% usage rate bump with both players off the floor.

In the first game they missed, Wiggins went off for 30 points. He missed more shots than any other Thunder player attempted in that game. That was referred to as an "Iverson" in my household.

But it was just a one-game sample size, so we can't make too much of it.

The more actionable data is the massive usage bump. Wiggins' 28.1% usage rate with SGA and Williams on the bench leads the team. He's averaged 23.4 points per 36 minutes with both players off the floor.

Chet Holmgren will be in the lineup tonight, but Cason Wallace and Isaiah Hartenstein are questionable. Lu Dort is also out. Wiggins has a strong chance to pace the team in usage and minutes.

Since Joel Embiid was lost for the season, Philly has ranked 29th in defensive rating. Their rating dropped by 8.0 with Embiid off the floor. Only the Spurs have allowed more points per game in this stretch. If the Spurs weren't also dealing with losing their defensive anchor, Philly would be the best matchup in the league.

Pick: Aaron Wiggins Over 18.5 Points (-115)
