NBA Player Props for Monday, April 7
- Zach LaVine Under 3.5 Assists (-134)
- Adem Bona Over 7.5 Rebounds (-115)
- Justin Edwards Over 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Zach LaVine spiked some big assist games with Malik Monk out of the lineup, but he's fallen off since the Kings got healthy.
He's averaged 1.8 assists on 5.0 potential assists in the six games since Monk returned to the lineup. LaVine's assist rate has fallen by 2.3% with Monk, DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis on the floor.
Detroit ranks fifth in assists allowed and sixth in opponent assisted field-goal rate. They're up to third in assists allowed over the past 10 games.
The Pistons are still battling for seeding in the Eastern Conference, so we shouldn't see any lineup shenanigans on their end.
Pick: Zach LaVine Under 3.5 Assists (-134)
By Kyle Murray
Adem Bona has been given more minutes lately, and with Guerschon Yabusele already ruled out for this game, Bona should get the start and see at least 29-30 minutes here.
In that time, I have him projected for 8.5 rebounds in what is actually a decent rebound matchup against Miami, as it allows the 11th-most rebound chances to opposing bigs.
Pick: Adem Bona Over 7.5 Rebounds (-115)
By Kyle Murray
Edwards left the last game with an injury, but he's questionable here. Therefore, I assume he will be a full-go if he plays.
Oddly enough, Edwards has been one of the more stable players to project on this Philly team. In this game, I have him projected for 15.1 points alone while also adding two assists and four rebounds.
Pick: Justin Edwards Over 16.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-120)
