A pair of Game 6's are on the slate tonight as the Warriors and Lakers look to close out their series on their home floors. I expect the stars to shine tonight and there a couple of PrizePicks plays I'll be looking to cash in on!
A quick refresher if you aren’t familiar with PrizePicks: you can combine up to five different player squares to payout up to 10x your entry.
You can do a Flex Play or a Power Play. A Flex Play gives you lesser odds, but you can win money if you do not nail every pick. A Power Play is all-or-nothing.
Here’s how I would approach today’s slate in the NBA Playoffs.
What is PrizePicks? A daily fantasy operator — meaning they’re available in more states (30) than sports betting is! — PrizePicks offers a unique opportunity for action on player props in which you tie two or more plays together.
Kevon Looney Rebounds + Assists Over 16.5
The Golden State Warriors look to close out their series against the Kings. Kevon Lookey is flying under the radar and has been outstanding for the Warriors. In this series, Looney is averaging 14.4 rebounds and five assists per game. Looney has gone over this projection in three straight games. In fact, over the past three games, Looney is averaging 18.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.
Looney has been pivotal on both sides of the court for the Warriors. Because of the Splash Brothers and Draymond Green, Looney is forgotten about at times. Looney is averaging 30.5 minutes per game and if the Warriors are going to close out this series, Looney is going to need to produce. The Kings don't have an answer for the size and length Looney provides inside. I expect Looney to have another big night as the Warriors close out this series.
LeBron James Over 10 Rebounds
The series shifts to Los Angeles as the Lakers look to close it out on their home floor. In a closeout game, I'm looking for LeBron James to have a big performance. James has done a great job rebounding the basketball in this series and I'm taking over 10 rebounds tonight. In this series, Jamess is averaging 12.4 rebounds per game. In fact, James has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in four of the five games (he had nine rebounds in the one game he fell short).
James also has a 20-rebound game in this series. Since Anthony Davis has been focused on blocking shots and defending the pick-and-roll, James has been been grabbing more rebounds. James has thrived on the glass in this series and I'll back him to grab over 10 boards in Game 6.
