EDITOR'S NOTE: Marcus Smart and Al Horford of the Boston Celtics have entered health and safety protocols and are out for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. For real-time injury updates, check out our FantasyLabs NBA news page.
Player props have become among the most popular bets in the industry, but while the amount of states with legalized gambling is growing, some may feel left out.
Enter: PrizePicks.
With PrizePicks, you get the opportunity to essentially parlay game prop over/unders with cash payouts depending on how many you get correct on that day’s slate.
You can do a Flex Play or a Power Play. A Flex Play gives you lesser odds, but you can win money even if you don’t nail every pick. Meanwhile, a Power Play is similar to a parlay — it’s all or nothing.
Here’s how I would approach today’s slate in NBA Playoffs slate.
What is PrizePicks? A daily fantasy operator — meaning they’re available in more states (30) than sports betting is! — PrizePicks offers a unique opportunity for action on player props in which you parlay two or more plays together.

Bam Adebayo Over 2.5 Assists
One underrated part of Bam Adebayo’s game has been his ability as a facilitator to find shooters or cutters around the basket. Since 2021, Adebayo has played in six games against the Celtics and has gone over this line in all six.
Adebayo will be key for the Heat to advance to the NBA Finals, and that will be in all three facets of the game. Asking Bam Adebayo to get three assists should not be a tall order especially with the shooters the Heat have and Kyle Lowry's absence in Game 1.
Max Strus Over 3 3-pointers Made
Max Strus has been pivotal for the Heat during this postseason with his marksmanship from the 3-point line. During his two regular-season games against the Boston Celtics, Strus knocked down a combined 13 3-point shots for the Heat, including at lest four in each game.
During the postseason, Strus is shooting 35.1% from the 3-point line and has knocked at least three 3-point shots in eight of the 11 games for the Heat. Furthermore, Strus is averaging 10.5 attempts from beyond the arc.
In a series where I expect the Boston Celtics to contain Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Adebayo, Strus should get plenty of looks from beyond downtown.
