Player props have become among the most popular bets in the industry, but while the amount of states with legalized gambling is growing, some may feel left out.
Enter: PrizePicks.
With PrizePicks, you get the opportunity to essentially parlay game prop over/unders with cash payouts depending on how many you get correct on that day’s slate.
You can do a Flex Play or a Power Play. A Flex Play gives you lesser odds, but you can win money even if you don’t nail every pick. Meanwhile, a Power Play is similar to a parlay — it’s all or nothing.
Here’s how I would approach today’s slate in NBA Playoffs slate.
What is PrizePicks? A daily fantasy operator — meaning they’re available in more states (30) than sports betting is! — PrizePicks offers a unique opportunity for action on player props in which you parlay two or more plays together.

Kevin Huerter Over 2.5 Assists
The Atlanta Hawks escaped in Game 3 and now have a chance to even up this series against the Miami Heat tonight. The Hawks are 2-point home underdogs and may be getting Clint Capela back from his knee injury as he was upgraded to questionable tonight. That will really help the assist numbers.
With Trae Young struggling in this Heat series from a scoring and an assist perspective, Kevin Huerter has taken over the past two games. In the first game of this series, the Hawks got blown out by 24 points and Huerter played just 23 minutes. In the past two games, though, he has averaged five assists.
Huerter needs to be on the floor, especially against this tough defense. During the regular season the Heat were fourth in Defensive Rating and third-to-last in Pace making this a difficult matchup. However, the juice on this prop going over is -145 (55.4% implied probability), while our model has Huerter projected for 3.1 assists. Ride with the red velvet.
CJ McCollum Over 4.5 Rebounds
After a massive road victory in Game 2, the New Orleans Pelicans lost their last home game and look to even up the series against the Phoenix Suns tonight. The Pelicans are are 2.5-point home underdogs with 106.25 implied points, which is the lowest total on the slate. They are still in this series though.
Simply put, this Pelicans team is completely different now that they have added CJ McCollum. Since his arrival, McCollum is averaging career-highs in points, rebounds, and assists while shooting nearly 50% from the field. He has averaged 41.3 minutes per game in this series and will likely play the same range of minutes tonight.
Our model has McCollum projected for 5.2 rebounds tonight, which isn't much more over this line, but what really stands out is McCollum is the juice on the over 4.5 rebounds at -145. He has averaged 6.7 rebounds per game in this series as he has had two games of eight rebounds. This feels like great value on PrizePicks.
