PJ Washington has gotten a solid 2.3% usage rate bump with Luka Doncic off the floor. He's averaged 15.9 points per game in 17 games without Doncic. Dallas gets a nice matchup against a weak Pelicans defense.

The Pelicans are 28th in defensive rating on the season and 25th over the last 10 games. They're 25th in points allowed per game.

The Pelicans have allowed the 2nd-most points in the paint per game and the 4th-most points per game from 2-pointers. Washington has focused less on 3-point shooting this season, taking a career-high 62.1% of his shots from inside the arc.

Doncic being off the floor significantly hurts the Mavericks' offensive rating. The absence of his playmaking is a blow to the players that can't get their own shot. Washington doesn't fall into that bucket, at least not this season.

He's been assisted on 64.3% of his field goals this season, which is easily a career low. He'd been above 80% in every other season.

A lot of that has to do with playing alongside ball-dominant players (e.g., Doncic, LaMelo Ball), as Washington hasn't had a ton of opportunities to create for himself.

It's great to see him be able to get his own shot and score consistently without the help of teammates.

Pick: PJ Washington More Than 14 Points

Trey Murphy More Than 22.5 Points

As of this moment, we haven't gotten news of whether or not Zion Williamson is playing, but on the second end of a back to back, I really doubt it.

Murphy gets a slightly above average matchup vs. the Mavs and he comes into this game in great form with 30+ points in each of the last two games.

This game should be close and Murphy should get mid to high 30s minutes.

Murphy has had massive volume even in games that Zion has played lately, and should get around 20 shot attempts in this spot, making this projection too low here.

Pick: Trey Murphy More Than 22.5 Points

Entering play, Steph Curry has fallen short of this projection in 23 of 31 games this season, including 13 of 16 road games.

This season, Curry has stark home-and-away splits, shooting 35.3% from deep on the road compared to 46.9% at home.

Tonight, Curry will face a Minnesota defense that ranks in the top-half of the NBA in defending guards at the 3-point line.

No point guard has made more than 4 shots from beyond the arc against Minnesota in any game in January.

This number is simply too high for a 36-year-old who has shown clear signs of age-related decline.

Pick: Steph Curry Less Than 5.5 Three-Pointers
