The Phoenix Suns (1-0) will visit the Los Angeles Lakers (1-0) for an NBA Pacific Division showdown on Friday night. It’s yet another matchup between Kevin Durant and LeBron James, an excellent ongoing rivalry that has existed since 2008. Tipoff from Crypto.com Arena is set for 10:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Read below for my NBA same game parlay for Suns vs. Lakers on Friday, October 25.

Anthony Davis 25+ Points (-115)
JJ Redick ran Los Angeles’ offense through Anthony Davis and had LeBron James take more of a backseat in their game against Minnesota. Redick’s plethora of complex sets also brought a bit of organization to the unit and created great looks for Davis, especially on lobs.
The result? AD dropped 36 points on 11-of-23 shooting and chipped in four assists.
If this is the new norm for the Lakers, then Davis will be in MVP conversations. The offense feels designed around his strengths, and he has needed more primary usage for a while now.
As for the matchup, Phoenix’s defense will likely bleed paint attempts all season. Their guards struggle to wall-off ball handlers, and Jusuf Nurkic lacks the athleticism to deter lobs or skilled big men. Kevin Durant is lengthy enough to somewhat bother James and perhaps force him into more of a pass-heavy game, and that benefits Davis’ scoring.
His volume and shot quality are both trending up. Back AD to score 25+ points tonight.
Bradley Beal Under 3.5 Assists (-113)
The Suns acquired Tyus Jones and Monte Morris to run the point this offseason. They are cautious playmakers who rarely make mistakes. Phoenix now has those two along with Booker to set up teammates, which means Bradley Beal can go back to what he does best: scoring buckets.
I expect less passing and more shots from him in general this season. That should especially come true against a Lakers defense that has Davis locking down the paint, but remains exploitable for guards.
Look for Beal to attack D’Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, and Dalton Knecht while finishing with a lackluster number of assists.
Tyus Jones 1+ Made Threes (-440)
Finally, the Lakers are going to give up a plethora of triples this season because of their personnel. Guards will chiefly benefit.
Jones is a quality outside shooter who should hover around 38-40% on 3-point attempts. His average volume remains a mystery, yet I see him taking somewhere between four and six attempts per game – enough to knock down a triple in the vast majority of matchups.
This third leg brings the same-game parlay odds from +221 to +297.
